Measuring the baby's mattress is very important to get the right size cover.  Basically you only need 2 measurements:

    1.  The Length of the mattress.
    2.  The Girth of the mattress.

The Girth is more exact if done by taking a measuring tape and going completely around the mattress @ the width.  Otherwise, take the total of the width X 2 plus the height X 2.  This is the Girth.

The cover slips on over the entire mattress so it can be adjusted to fit if it is a little larger than the mattress.  We can help you if you are not sure which cover to get if you send us the correct measurements.  Ask Barb at barbcnm@babymattresscovers.com.   We also have instructions on how to fit a cover that is a little larger over a smaller mattress.  We are here to help you.
